ASSISTANT MANAGER

Are you looking for a new job in the health and fitness industry? If you are - please consider SHOE SCIENCE.

• The pay range is $30,000 to $40,000.
• You will work 5 days per week. You must work 1 weekend day.
• Full training is provided.

A role at SHOE SCIENCE goes beyond that found in most stores.

At the front of the store our primary job every day is achieving our 'client commitment' for every customer we serve. 'Finding the perfect shoes for injury prevention and the ultimate ride at your price'.

The way we sell shoes is a blend of science and fashion. It is a satisfying job as we really help people maintain a fit and healthy life. Customers appreciate the service we provide.

At the back end of the store we receive stock and enter it into a point of sales and accounting systems.

We are a company that has great team spirit and the owners are very available to everyone.

We like our staff to;

• Have an active interest in personal fitness for credibility and confidence
• Be interested in a career and becoming a store manager.
• Half our customers are women, so this is a good environment for both men and women.
• Having experience in retail is desirable, but not essential.
• Good communication skills.
• Confident of being able to learn entering and processing invoices accurately.
• Be flexible in moving from store to store.
• Have the ability to manage others.
• Work within a team and contribute to a good team spirit and effort.
